My Granddad’s Car E17
My Granddad’s car remains in Pakistan, but I can still explore the possible places it could be. It is important for me to document my feelings in both Pakistan and England throughout this experience regardless of outcomes. Instead of scattering rose petals over the fabric as I did in Qillasattarshah, I dropped daffodils; they seemed more appropriate for the time of year. I then sat in the space that most closely resembled the passenger seat. The act made a connection with where I left the car in Pakistan and helped me to reconcile the fact that the car has yet to make to England…
The birds were just as vocal in Walthamstow.
