Sayed Hasan is a London-based visual artist who explores the relationships between people, place and circumstance. In recent years he has worked on various projects examining personal experience and the life around him through photography, video and performance.

His work considers how seemingly incompatible social and cultural spheres overlap in everyday life, and for many of his projects, Sayed enlists bold and playful tactics to create surprising encounters with subjects – whether family and friends or passers-by.

Since graduating from Goldsmiths in, MA in Photography and Urban Cultures in 2009, Sayed Hasan’s photographic, video and installation works have been exhibited nationally and internationally.
